Our Goal.....

To provide a platform that complements the Acting Talent’s existing efforts to realize their acting dreams and passions. 
​Secure The Role! serves as an additional opportunity for Acting Talent to showcase their creativity and acting skills through unique, yet fun and entertaining, acting contests. 
​Furthermore, Secure The Role! aims to help increase the Acting Talent’s visibility among industry peers and professionals, by sharing their creative gifts and acting value with the viewing public.​

.....to expand our current acting contest scope from competitions focused solely on acting, to competitions for Acting Talent AND Aspiring Screenwriters and Directors.

.....to grow financially so that larger cash prizes can not only be awarded to 1st place winners; but, cash prizes can be awarded to other Finalists as well. 

.....to grow the Secure The Role! Acting contests in popularity among both film/tv industry professionals and the general public alike --- to the point where cash prizes pale in comparison to the heightened positive exposure that finalists will receive.

Secure The Role!™ Origins

        The Secure The Role! Acting Contest derived, honestly, from a place of both determination and frustration. Just like every other complex task that's ever been placed in front of me throughout my life, my determination and personal expectations as an Actor demanded that I succeed ..... and succeed Greatly!!! So, when roles weren't coming my way, I grew more and more frustrated! Then one day, after self-taping an audition for a speaking role, I posed a very simple question to myself. That question was....."Why the hell can't I get paid for all of the time and effort I'm giving to complete all of these remote auditions?". Now I know something like that is completely unrealistic. But, as absurd as that thought may have been, that one moment in fantasyland started the wheels of my mind to turn. "Why not give aspiring Acting Talent an opportunity to win a prize for acting out a fictitious script and scene that I create?", I thought. 


        Well, the Secure The Role! Acting Contest is that opportunity. If you're reading this, I hope you choose to participate. And if you choose to participate, I wish you good fortunes!
